My photos are appearing in two categories of an upcoming exhibition on October 1st in Washington DC.
I’d love to go, but since I’m still recovering from eye surgery we have decided not to make the trip. Please click on the Facebook post above and click on the virtual exhibitions linked there. You’ll be able to see all the wonderful work and browse the digital images.
In the past few days, I’ve been shocked and surprised to learn that my images have been chosen to be digitally showcased in three (3) new exhibitions! I’m so excited that my work is being recognized!
My image of Lake Carroll in Carroll Valley, PA – My Home! – was chosen for the Powerful Composition Exhibit at the BBA Gallery in Berlin Germany. Chosen out of 215,000 images submitted from 92 countries. The Exhibition will run from July 19-21.
My image “Overexposed Butterfly” was chosen to be showcased in the Beautiful Imperfections exhibit at the Qlick Gallery in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Exhibition will open July 26th. This image is actually a special favorite of mine because it represents fighting for a quality life even while living with illness which is what I do everyday. I don’t yet know how many images were in consideration or this honor.
My image “Sun Globe Pier” was chosen to be showcased in the Your Exhibition Shot exhibition at the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece. The image was chosen from 255,000 other images from 88 countries. The exhibit will run from July 12-14.
I’m so excited that my picture Echinacea in Grayscale was selected for digital showcasing in the Your Favorite Shot exhibit in Venice at the Palazzo Ca’Zanardi – Itsliquid Gallery. My image was chosen from 252,000 photos submitted from 93 countries. 1883 people were chosen to be digitally showcased. The exhibit runs June 14-16, 2019
